We have recently reviewed our cost structure in line with industry standards. This is a premium Veterinary Service and prices reflect this market position. We have made our fees as cost effective for you as is possible.

CONSULTATIONS & HOUSE CALL (CALL OUT) COSTS

VERY IMPORTANT!

  • PLEASE MAKE SURE – YOU DISCUSS THE COST WITH THE VET FIRST

  • to avoid misunderstandings and unfulfilled expectations you might have developed

  • These prices are provided as a guide for your reference only – individual circumstances may vary.
  • PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME that you have correctly calculated the COST to get the vet to your house

  • NB – We can give a FIRM Cost for Attendance and Examination of your Pet – e.g. House Call / Initial Examination / After Hours Call Out
  • NB – We cannot however give a Total Cost (in many cases) for the visit as we can only do this after examining your pet (i.e. Cost of Medications, Tests & Treatments etc.)
  • Competitive Pricing – I try to keep these Prices reasonable and competitive, so I am happy to see if I can give a competitive deal on a Quote you already have from another Mobile Vet.
  • Payment – we accept Cash, Card, EFTPOS & Direct Debit as well as VetPay (see below)
  • We expect payment at time of Attendance – No Accounts

(A) STANDARD CONSULT

FIRST PET (Dog, Cat, Other) – this is the cost to examine your pet once we are at your house only

  • $125 – (NB – YOU MUST ADD this to House Call / Call Out Cost / After Hours Cost detailed below)
  • NB – Please do not make any assumptions -> Call Dr Dave 0435283929 to discuss 

Worked examples:

  • NB – Weekdays: Total Call Out Cost = Consultation Cost (A) PLUS House Call (Call Out Cost) (B)
  • NB – After Hours / Weekends: Total Call Out Cost = Above (A + B) PLUS AFTER HOURS COST (C)
  • NB – Cost of Medications, Tests, Treatments, Referrals etc. are in addition to the Consult, call out and After Hours Fees.

(B) HOUSE CALL (Call Out) COSTS – this is the cost to get the vet to your home, Please Note: –

  • In addition to Consultation Cost – (i.e. you MUST add this on to Consultation Cost, see above)
  • Within Normal Service Area / in Normal Hours – (Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • House Calls can be arranged to other locations and at other times (Additional Costs involved)
  • Based on: Time / Travel Cost for Vet to get to Your House PLUS Back to Base (i.e. Both ways)
  • To cover – Vehicle Running Costs including: Fuel, Tolls, Vehicle Wear & Tear and Professional Time & Expenses etc.
  • ADD this – Price depends on distance from Base – Ranging from $125 – $275 (within Greater Western Sydney)
  • Add Weekend / After Hours Costs as necessary – see below

(C) AFTER HOURS (Outside of Normal Operating Hours, which are: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

& WEEKEND AVAILABLITY / Surcharge (Saturday / Sunday / Public Holidays)

  • This is only charged out of Normal Hours 
  • ADD this –  $150 MINIMUM  (NB – plus consultation Fee, Plus Call Out Fee, see above)
  • Please make sure you discuss this with the Vet prior to House Call
  • Please do NOT make any assumptions

Please Note that these are just the INITIAL Consultation Cost ONLY at After Hours / Emergency Clinics in Sydney vary from:

  • ARH $250, Sydney Uni & SASH $265 and Regentville $365 – and you have to take your pet to them. (Current as of December 2019)
  • REMEMBER! – We come to you – THIS REPRESENTS SPECTACULAR VALUE!

HOURS OF OPERATION

10 AM – 4 PM Monday to Friday, by mutual arrangement

Appointments on Saturdays and outside normal hours can be arranged by special arrangement,

NB – additional cost may apply.

APPOINTMENTS

You will receive a confirmation text 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Appointment time will be approximate only – within a One hour period (e.g. 2:00 – 3:00 PM)

This is subject to travel time and Traffic Conditions – so please allow up to an extra Hour for attendance.

Same day cancellations will incur a fee of 50% of the Call Out Fee ($150.00)

“No Shows” / Failure to be home will incur Full House Call Out Fee ($300.00)
